2 Antique Art Deco Silk Squares~ Fantasy Ladies~ Hand painted

These are so interesting! They appear to me to be painted ( dyed) silk hankies from the late 1910-20 era. They are frail, but still vibrant in color and would frame nicely. The artwork is so perfect for this difficult medium, they must be professional work. The nature of silk is to become brittle over time, and these have tears and breaks- but oh so rare, surely one of a kind- I found them in my storage unit, stashed away long ago. Don't you love the bird lady? Perfect accent for the boudoir! Each measures about  9" x 9" square
